What to Expect During Paris Fashion Week Spring 2024

New York, done. London, done. Milan, done. Now, Paris Fashion Week has our undivided attention for the next several days, and we lay in wait for PFW’s Spring 2024 season to commence, for what is promised to be an eventful showcase boasting 100+ presentations.
Running from September 25 to October 3, PFW kicks-off today with Vaquera and Pierre Cardin, just as the fashion pack arrive in the French capital. Day two will feel like the official kick-off, with New York-based Peter Do included on the PFW schedule for the first time, followed by attendees racing to Christian Dior and then dashing off to Saint Laurent come nightfall. Wednesday will see Courrèges, The Row, Marni, Dries Van Noten, Undercover, Acne Studios and Balmain (for which all eyes will be fixed upon, following the news of the dramatic theft of Olivier Rousteing’s collection). The next day, we will be devouring the collections of Uma Wang, Rabanne, Chloé (Gabriela Hearst’s last as creative director), Givenchy, Rick Owens, Schiaparelli and Isabel Marant – talk about a jam-packed day. Friday will give us JW Anderson’s Loewe, Issey Miyake, Giambattista Valli, Nina Ricci, Victoria Beckham, Yohji Yamamoto and Coperni while over the weekend Vivienne Westwood, Hermès, Alexander McQueen (Sarah Burton’s swansong), Balenciaga and Valentino will be our main focus. To start a fresh new week, the schedule bestows upon us showcases from Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton to name just a select few who will show on Monday. Tuesday, the last day of PFW, it will be PFW staples Chanel and Miu Miu closing out the festivities.
